I believe that all kind reviews, thoughtful feature requests, and helpful bug reports deserve a kind reply. However with my full time day job (not ChessCraft) I'm struggling to find the time. As community manager, I'm hoping you'll free up some of my time so I can do more programming.
Starting with most important:
This is a part-time remote position with a flexible schedule. Hourly compensation will be "fairly good for a student in university" though you can help me figure out what that should be.
We will start at a few hours a month. If you take initiative and I like your big ideas, we can do more.
Not required, but nice to have:
Once the AI became good enough to beat me on smaller boards with variant pieces and could crush 99% of my users on most boards, I stopped making it better. However I have a backlog of ideas to make it even better.
The AI for ChessCraft is written in C#. Unity uses this codebase, but it also compiles to a commandline application with tests and benchmarks. You can learn more about the C# ChessCraft project here.
